WAGG
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 30 July 2026

These Terms are a contract between you and Patrick Lynott, trading as Wagg ("Wagg", "we", "us"). By creating a Wagg account, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and — if you use Wagg to manage your own clients' data — our Data Processing Addendum.

1. The service

Wagg is a business management app for UK sole-trader pet service providers, covering scheduling, client and pet records, invoicing, expenses, and Making Tax Digital (MTD) submission support. Wagg is not a substitute for professional accountancy or tax advice.

2. Eligibility & your account

You must be 18 or older, based in the UK, and able to provide accurate registration information. You're responsible for your login credentials and for all activity on your account, including that of any Team Members you add. Tell us immediately at hello@wagg-app.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Subscription & billing
  • A 14-day free trial is available; a card is required upfront and you won't be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel first.
  • Current pricing is shown in-app and forms part of these Terms.
  • Billing runs on an annual anniversary basis from your sign-up date, billed upfront for the period ahead.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • Failed payments may result in suspended access until resolved.
  • You can cancel at any time; you'll retain access until the end of your current paid period. Refunds are not provided for unused time except where required by law.
  • We'll give at least 30 days' notice of any price change before it applies to you.
4. Making Tax Digital

Wagg supports quarterly updates and Final Declaration submissions to HMRC via their API, sent only with your explicit authorisation. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit and for meeting your submission deadlines. Wagg does not currently support full Self Assessment beyond MTD Income Tax for your sole trade — where this applies to you, we'll direct you to HMRC or a qualified adviser.

5. Your data

You own the business data you enter into Wagg. If you record data about your own clients, you are the data controller of that data, and are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold it. You grant us a licence to process your data solely to provide the service.

6. Team Members

Owners may invite staff as Team Members with access limited to relevant scheduling and client information; Team Members do not have access to pricing data. The Owner is responsible for granting and removing Team Member access and remains the contracting party for billing purposes.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Wagg unlawfully, to store data you don't have the right to hold, to interfere with the app or its infrastructure, or to submit false information to HMRC through the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Wagg available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and do not currently offer a formal service level agreement.

9. Intellectual property

Wagg — the app, its design, and underlying code — belongs to us. These Terms grant you a licence to use it; they do not transfer ownership. Your own business data remains yours.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for penalties or fines arising from your own submissions, deadlines, or inaccurate data.

11. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or as required by law. Financial records are retained for 7 years after account closure, in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes and give reasonable notice before they take effect.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
